Christmas Party

Children from DEUXLANGUES association celebrated Christmas in style with a Special Christmas party. Parents and grandparents came along to enjoy the songs and games accompanied by some tasty mince pies and trifle (Photos to follow). The group will meet again in January 2009 and continue with bilingual workshops every other Saturday going up to June 2009.

Childrens group 8th November

The DEUXLANGUES Association workshop for 8^th November will focus on introductory number work associated to the colours learnt in the last sessions. This session will include a good singing session and some shape body work. Sounds intriguing….

Colour fun…

Saturday 6th September -Deuxlangues hosted the first of a special series of bilingual workshops at the Chartreuse in Cauderan. A great time was had by all children and parents. The subject of primary colours was attacked and the children were quick to identify with their favorite colours and build their houses in the ”Colour Town”… see you all on the 20th for the next episode…….

  Good news for DEUXLANGUES members !  Bilingual workshops will be starting on Saturday 6th September 2008 from 10am – 12 at the Chartreuse in Cauderan. Bilingual workshops

”Deuxlangues.fr ” will be starting a new series of bilingual workshops from September 2008.

Why organise Bilingual Workshops?

Because bilingual children, like monolingual children learn language by imitating what they hear around themselves in their home and school environment. Multiplying their exposure to minority language through bilingual workshops increases their chances of developing a love of their minority language allowing quicker language acquisition. Réseau pour enfants bilingues

2 Février 2008 - Bordeaux

 Fondé en Décembre 2007, L’association Deux langues.fr a pour but de rapprocher des familles avec enfants bilingues dans la région bordelaise. Le site www.deuxlangues.fr fournit un forum de discussion et un lieu d’échanges pour des parents élevant des enfants dans un milieu avec deux langues et donc deux cultures.Nous voudrions rendre l’apprentissage d’une deuxième langue et deuxième culture dans le cadre de la vie en France, simple et naturelle. Ce soutien passe, entre autre, par des réunions mensuelles entre familles bilingues, des ateliers  disponibles pour enfants âgé de 3 – 5 ans et d’un forum disponible sur ce site pour des échanges entre familles. D’autres activités seront organisées au fil de l’année 2008 – renseignez vous sur www.deuxlangues.fr
